Hey there, we're Kathleen and Richard
We recently moved to Santiago and fell for the city fast. Before we arrived, while we were still living in Dubai, we spent hours trying to research our new home. Where's good for live music? What's the best spot for Korean food? What's happening this weekend? Finding any of that in English turned out to be surprisingly hard.
Once we landed, we found so much to discover, but it was scattered across Spanish-language websites, Instagram pages, WhatsApp groups, and word of mouth. So we asked ourselves: why doesn't this all exist in one place?
That's how The Santiago Guide was born, the resource we wish we'd had before moving here. A place to find out what's happening, discover great local spots, support local businesses, and make Santiago feel a little easier to navigate.
We're still figuring out life here too. Building this guide is our way of getting to know the city, meeting our neighbors, and sharing the things we wish had been easier to find.
