This was the most delicious sandwich I ever ate. The pork was very tasty and oh so tender😋If you want a good meal in the heart of downtown Santiago this is the place to go
El Pobre Guido ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (6/5 if I could) I had a Dynamito sandwich with churrasco – and honestly, it was amazing. The combination of sauerkraut, American sauce, perfectly seasoned meat, and a slightly spicy extra sauce is simply brilliant. The bread was top-notch, fresh, and just right for this type of sandwich. What's also impressive is the turnover. I sat at the counter, and the employee who was carving lomito (pork) in front of me practically didn't stop for a second. We were there until just before closing time, and the place was packed the whole time – an incredible crowd, an incredible pace. Despite that, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Yes, it can sometimes be difficult to get a seat or even anything at all – but they manage it. Definitely worth a visit. A cult classic. If possible: 6 out of 5 stars.

The best part: the bread stays crispy because it's moistened just enough and doesn't turn into a sponge… even when you order it Italian-style. That's skill, not luck. And speaking of skill, it's part of the experience to see Don Guido himself in action, turning the steak sandwiches and slicing them to order. It's almost a Franklin culinary show: simple, straightforward, and with impeccable results. Truly, an art form. Another golden point: it's located inside the Persa flea market, where there's a massive amount of food and where many places have shamelessly inflated their prices over time. Not here. We ordered two Italian-style steak sandwiches and two drinks, and it came to a little over $15,000… a steal considering the size, flavor, and quality. The steak sandwich came with just the…
