We stopped by on the first day of August. Understanding the cold weather and not knowing the place, we found a very peaceful spot with warm lighting and a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that it arrived piping hot; it was a real treat. Thank you so much for the service.

Aldente is a small business, and it shows. It's run with love and effort, more than with technique and quality. One of the owners waits tables, and his wife does the cooking. They try their best to make you feel comfortable despite the creaky chairs, the slightly dirty silverware, and the uneven tables. As for the menu, it's basic. And as for the result: VERY, VERY, VERY unremarkable. The pasta was hard and packaged (al dente, but reheated), and the gnocchi and ravioli clearly had foodservice origins. The sauces were okay, but nothing special. In the Bolognese, the carrot was more prominent than the meat. Would I cross Santiago to go back? No, of course not. Would I eat here again if I happened to be in the same area? Possibly, to support the place and because they have prices that are reasonable for a neighborhood eatery... but it's far from being a trattoria. I wish them luck.

I had a pizza and tiramisu for dessert. It was all delicious. You can choose three toppings for the pizza, which already includes cheese and sauce. And the tiramisu was incredibly fresh. Very affordable and cozy, plus the music was great and the service was excellent.
