We had a wonderful time at the Alyan Family Wines Sunset Experience. The vineyard is beautiful, and watching the sunset with a glass of wine in hand made for a truly memorable evening. The experience was very well organized, the staff was friendly, and the wine tasting was enjoyable. Even though it’s a popular destination with many visitors, everything ran smoothly, and the atmosphere during sunset was really special. If you’re visiting the Santiago wine region, this is a great experience to add to your itinerary. The views, the wines, and the golden hour over the vineyard make it well worth the visit.
I would give six stars if I could. Had the sunset experience, wonderful! I am actually not a wine lover. Most of the wines tasted great, got food and snacks. Well organized with flexibility though. The speech of the owner regarding people focusing on screens and not on drinking wine was a good topic. However, too long and dramatic. We were there to enjoy AND drink wine. Hope to hear a moderate one next time. Good value for the money and an unforgettable evening. Gracias!
If you went to Santiago and didn’t visit Alyan, you simply have to go back. Alyan was the best place we visited, with an amazing view, beautiful spots for photos, excellent wine and spectacular dining (coming from someone who is passionate about food reviews). They offer a six-wine tasting, which includes two white wines (Sauvignon Blanc and Najaro) and four red wines, including two super-premium selections: one Gran Cuve and one Panaceia (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Syrah and Cabernet Franc). They also teach the basics of wine tasting and offer food for pairing with cheese, cracker biscuit and a dinner with a view of the Andes. If you are going to Santiago, book this experience in advance and make sure to go. **It is also highly recommended to book a driver, we took ViajarChile.**
