Excellent service and really yummy food perfect for a weekend lunch. We visited in April and were lucky to have very sunny weather. We walked around the market on a Saturday and took a look at all the stores. We have been very interested in trying that pastel de chocio (a traditional Chilean dish with sweet ground corn pie with beef, chicken, onion, egg, raisins, and olives served in a warm clay pot) and the sopaipillas with pebre (which is like a pumpkin pita served with a salsa, like topping of tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and peppers). Both dishes were excellent. Our server was very friendly and actually spoke English to us as well which helped. The overall market is very touristy and very friendly. The food market is full of locals who will buy fruits and vegetables on the weekend. Great spot, highly recommended. Thank you Vajamen for the excellent hospitality.
It is an outdoor seating restaurant at Los dominicos craft center. Loved how the dogs run around the premise. Also the premise only serve cervezas. No other alcohols are served due to the historical site. The food were delicious and large portions. We loved the pastel choclo. It is one of the best in Santiago. We still don’t understand why the olive had pit so be careful when eating the pastel. This pastel had a piece of chicken and ground beef. Yummy!! Great service and the team was very attentive. This is definitely a must try restaurant while visiting Los Dominicos!
If you’re wandering through the charming outdoor shops of Pueblito de los Dominicos and you start getting hungry, Antülican is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble into. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and unmistakably Chilean. Rustic wood beams, simple furnishings, and an easy blend of indoor seating and shaded outdoor tables make it an inviting place to slow down and stay awhile. Being tucked into Pueblito de los Dominicos adds to the experience, with artisan shops, greenery, and the soft background hum of people enjoying the space. It feels authentic and unforced, like a spot that belongs exactly where it is. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Staff were welcoming, efficient, and clearly accustomed to both locals and visitors, keeping everything moving smoothly even as the lunch crowd grew. We ordered the Churrasco Italiano, jugo de frambuesa, ensalada mixta, and palmito y palta, and everything hit the spot. The Churrasco Italiano was hearty and well-balanced, with tender meat complemented nicely by fresh tomate, creamy palta, and mayo. The jugo de frambuesa was bright and refreshing, not overly sweet, and perfect for a warm afternoon. The…
