Bamboo House: Comida China

Whilst in Las Condes, we ate at this restaurant twice. For me personally, the second visit was a chance of redemption… unfortunately nothing was redeemed. On my first visit to the restaurant, I ordered a sweet and sour chicken with rice. The sweet and sour sauce had too much vinegar in it, and did not taste good. I also ordered some meat spring rolls, which were ok, but didn’t impress me very much. On our second visit to the restaurant, we ordered a chicken chow mein and chicken curry. The chicken curry had a very strange taste, almost floral, and we left most of the dish. The chicken chow mien was very bland, almost as though the noodles had no sauce on them at all. The vegetables in the chow mien were also not cooked enough, and were crunchy. I am really disappointed that the food did not taste good, as it was presented well and the staff were polite.

QUICK SOLUTION: I ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and it was incomplete! One item was missing! I called the restaurant, and they had the problem resolved in 10 minutes! They're always great here, and I love it! Especially the soups! Highly recommended!

I tried Bamboo House, a Chinese restaurant located in Manquehue Norte, and overall it was a good experience 👍. They have Mongolian beef 🥩 with fries 🍟, a drink 🥤, and two spring rolls 🥠 for $10,990, making it a convenient lunch option. The food is tasty 😋, perfectly adequate, though it's fairly standard for the price; it's not gourmet and doesn't pretend to be. Personally, I found the portion size a bit small compared to other similar menus, but that's just my personal opinion, haha ​​😅. The restaurant has a terrace 🌿 and an indoor dining area; you can eat in or order takeout 🚶‍♂️🥡. The service is fast ⚡, ideal if you're short on time. However, they don't sell alcohol 🚫🍺 and they don't have parking 🚫🚗, something to keep in mind. Overall, a decent place to satisfy your Chinese food cravings without any hassle 👌. ⭐ 4 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐
