A pleasant place with excellent service. The roast chicken is very tasty and highly recommended. The fries were too salty this time; it's best to order them without salt. You can eat there or order takeout, as they also sell snacks. Pollo Montañés was a lifesaver for lunch before heading to Salto El Yeso, since we couldn't find any roast chicken in the San José plaza. Next time we'll try the empanadas.
Translated by GoogleDisappointing. I went to order a beef empanada, as I'd heard great things about the place, but I was very disappointed to find it was a bland onion empanada with no (ground) meat and a whole egg trying to compensate. As for the service, it was excellent.
Translated by GoogleThe chicken and fries were good. However, we ordered beef empanadas that were 95% onion and the rest ground beef. Very disappointed with the quality of their beef empanada, or rather, onion empanada.
