My partner and I were visiting Santiago from Toronto. I have to say this place it’s amazing. It exceeded my expections, food was delish and cocktails were 🤩 . Customer service impeccable! We’ll definitely go there again next time we are in Santiago
Definitely the best place in Santiago. Ether you come for a much to enjoy a beautiful terrace or dinner or just gathering with friends for some drinks, El Toro is the place for you. Amazing atmosphere any time of the day or night. Great quality of food and cocktails, or choices of wine . Very friendly and attentive team. Definite THE MUST if you visiting or residing in Chile. Can’t wait to be back in my absolute favorite restaurant in the world.
We visited twice within a week. Both times the food was delicious. The waitstaff are friendly but also never quite around. Some inconsistencies for sure in the service, first time was perfection but second time was hit and miss - not sure if it’s due to the language barrier. We ordered 2 dishes (plateada à la cazadora and atún grillado en sésame) that are meant to include sides but the waiters took our order for only one serving. We missed and were never informed of the fact that the sesame-grilled tuna should also include a side. First time we weren’t charged for iced tap water but the second time they added a token amount. Oh well, El Toro is still worth a trip for the food, even if service can be a bit lacking.
