Every time we go to El Cajón, we stop by Flako's place for his delicious baked empanadas. The dough and flavor are incomparable. Flako is a delight, always full of good vibes, and always inspires us to come back. The place is very rustic but cozy, a real gem with the best prices.

The empanadas are 10/10. I wouldn't highly recommend the rest of the food. It's not bad, mind you, it's not bad food, no way, it's just not the best you'll find along the way. The empanadas, on the other hand, have a real character. The empanadas with homemade dough are outstanding; they're excellent and very reasonably priced. The place? It's small. The size would be better if the service were quick and they brought you your empanada and you could leave. But since it's not that fast, you have to wait in a small space. The mote con huesillo is excellent.
