Our experience at Restaurant Darío in Buin was much better than I expected, considering some of the reviews I had read beforehand. I especially want to highlight the quality and flavor of the meats, which were very well prepared and cooked to perfection. Furthermore, the restaurant is pleasant, welcoming, and its presentation makes you want to enjoy the experience. I want to give a special mention to Paolita, whose service was exceptional. She was always attentive to our needs, concerned about every detail, and her helpfulness made our visit even more enjoyable. However, there are some aspects that could improve the overall experience. I missed traditional touches found in many Chilean restaurants, such as offering butter with the initial course and a complimentary digestif at the end of the meal. I understand, based on the explanation given by the owner's daughter and the owner himself, the reasons why they decided to stop offering these amenities, but I believe they are gestures that add value and help build customer loyalty.
