This was the first stop on our Valparaíso tour. The area has a small market, free wine tasting, and a cafeteria-style restaurant where you order and pay at the cashier before picking up your food and finding a seat. Since it was still early in the morning, I only had an empanada. Unfortunately, it was a bit dry and nothing special. One tip for anyone visiting: bring a jacket! The temperature here was about 10 degrees cooler than in Santiago, so it felt much colder than I expected.
It’s a great stop to grab some food and exchange currency. Highly recommended. The strawberry juice tastes like you just ate fresh strawberries, amazing.
This is a roadside kitschy place between Valparaiso and Santiago. buy coffee, fast food, replicate Easter Island heads, bright blue and orange wine from fruit other than grapes. Didn't take any photos because, well, it's a kitschy tourist place - same look workwide. Good bathrooms so reason to stop...
