A great small winery with a flawless tasting experience. We tasted several of their wines including their flagship El Principal Cabernet Sauvignon and several vintages of their Memorias blend, the 2008 being our favorite. A great tour and tasting, not to be missed!
Viña el principal is a great butique winery and a great place to get to know Chilean wines. They don't use the oaks more than 3 times and they meticulously produce a small selection of wines that were absolutely amazing. Our tour guide/sommelier Javiera was great and provided us with great information. She genuinely loves the wines and knows each and every detail about the winery. Highly recommended.
