Tucked away on the hillside of Valparaiso, this cozy Chilean restaurant, converted from a quaint home, was magical. I had the Caldillo de Caigo, a Pablo Neruda favorite which was hearty, especially in the rain. The service was amazing and the hosts inviting.
Hotel recommended this nearby restaurant. Seafood is tasty, nice view of the ocean. Reasonably priced. The small appetizer they served, some kind of home made seaweed dish was very tasty.
Reviews are useful but it can be hard sometimes to gauge whether the writer's perspective matches your own. Just because they loved it, how do you know you will? You won't have to worry about that with Circular. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, our dinner here has been one of the most memorable dining experiences in a long while. We were trying to book into a number of other places but struggling due to new years. We tried Circular as a last resort and they could fit us in. Best decision we ever nearly didn't make. The menu is simple, as are the dishes but packed full of flavour. Seafood doesn't come to life like this very often and the team craft everything with love and care, tasted in every bite. Same with the wine, which had us ending up trying a small batch handcrafted number from down the road, 'special for us' served with a wink and a smile We loved it. We know you will too. 🍷
