Ambar served us very well. I must say that I haven’t eaten this good in a while! Highly recommend the place!
La Cabrera never disappoints, not even in mall locations like this one in Plaza Egaña. We were greeted with complimentary warm bread rolls, excellent spiced butter and olives with mustard, and a trio of salts (plain, Malbec, and Provençal). We ordered incredible grilled sweetbreads, fried beef empanadas (very juicy, Argentinian style), a medium-rare ribeye steak (although it arrived almost medium-well, it was incredibly flavorful, cooked over real charcoal), and arugula and Parmesan salad. We also ordered draft beer and other drinks, a digestif (they have a very well-stocked bar, which surprised me), and for dessert, a homemade flan (cream and dulce de leche). This was perhaps the weakest point, as it didn't taste like homemade flan. It wasn't bad, but I expected something lighter and with a more homemade flavor (it tasted like the kind you buy at the supermarket). The portions were perfect, and everything was served at the right temperature. The atmosphere was very pleasant and lively. Translated by GoogleThis steakhouse always offers a 40% discount with the CMR card, which is very convenient. Because of this, it gets quite busy, so you'll likely have to wait for a table, and the service can be a bit slow. The food was good, although I found the grilled vegetables to be a small portion and rather bland. The waiters are very friendly, and the ambiance/decor is also nice.
