Everything tonight was on point starting with the warm welcome and personalized service, all of which easily over came my lack of Spanish. As for dinner, I followed the recommendation of my waiter, which did not disappoint. Fish was fresh and flavorful. Service was prompt and polite. Highly recommend!
If you’re a seafood lover, the raw clams from Chile are a true treat. Fresh, briny, and perfectly chilled, they deliver a delicate sweetness balanced with a subtle, ocean-fresh saltiness. Pair that with a hearty, seafood paella, packed with flavour of a perfectly cooked rice. Love the generous portion of scallops , mussels, squids , making it a satisfying experience. The waiter was incredibly patient and attentive, carefully explaining each dish on the menu in perfect detail, even though we only spoke English. His recommendation for dinner was absolutely spot on, resulting in a meal that exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the delicious dinner !
Cala is an upscale seafood white cloth restaurant in the affluent neighbourhood of Vitacura. The golden crab, native to the Juan Fernández Archipelago, is highly recommended either ordered as empanadas or served in a golden crab soup, which is creamy, savory, and absolutely delicious. The conger eel fillet cut was equally delicious and flakey with garlic and red pepper sauce. The service is outstanding - efficient, warm, and knowledgeable of the menu.
