Small cozy place with a beautiful balcony with Mexican food😍It’s a great place to enjoy a meal or just relax with some drinks. I tried their nachos, and they were great! The portion was generous, topped with a lot of melted cheese, no guacamole 🤣😅 just a cubes of avocado 🤪 With cocktail I felt it could’ve used a bit more alcohol. It wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been stronger to make it a perfect balance. The atmosphere is great, the little Mexico in Vitacura 🤪. The staff were friendly and attentive. Clean restrooms. Pet friendly 🫶🏻

During a recent trip to Santiago, my fiancée and I were craving Mexican food, so we decided to try El Zócalo since it was only about ten minutes from our hotel in Las Condes. When we arrived, we were seated on the outdoor patio enclosed in plastic for winter. It was quite cold, so the hostess turned on a heat lamp, which helped a little, but we decided to keep our coats on throughout dinner. Our server arrived promptly to take our order so that we could eat quickly in the cool air. When the food arrived, we were pleased with both the presentation and the taste of our meals. At the end of the evening, we used the restrooms and noticed tables inside the main dining room, which would have been more comfortable had we been offered that option. Regardless of the chill, the service at El Zócalo was attentive and the food was delicious, and we left very satisfied. I imagine the patio would be packed in summer as it truly highlights the restaurant’s appeal. Gracias for a lovely evening!

We went for Mexican food with the family. My young daughter had the classic beef taco and ended up having food poisoning during the night.
